Radnor Township police have reopened their investigation into the unsolved 1993 shooting death of 34-year-old Jennifer Tong.
Superintendent of Police William Colarulo announced during a press conference Thursday that police would reopen the Tong homicide probe, citing "technological advancements" that could help with the cold case, the Delaware County Daily Times reports.
Tong, of Marple, was found shot dead in the backseat of her 1993 Toyota Camry. She had been shot in her head with a .32-caliber revolver.
Investigators believe Tong was taken from her Marple home in the early morning hours of June 26, 1993, before being shot.
The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest, or arrests, of the person, or people, responsible for Tong’s murder. Anyone with information should call 215-546-TIPS or the Radnor Police detective bureau at 610-688-0503 ext. 120.
