Eight people were sent to the hospital after a car and MBTA bus collided on Morton Street on Tuesday.

According to T officials, around 11:30 a.m., an Enterprise rental car cut in front of a bus on Route 21 at the intersection of Morton and Hannon Sreets.

The front of the bus made contact with the rear end of the car, according to reports.
