Police are searching for an armed man they say robbed a woman in front of eight children inside a Brooklyn elevator on Monday.
The suspect followed the victim, 39, into 1711 Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant at 2:30 p.m. and boarded the elevator with the woman and the eight children who were in her care. The man then simulated a gun, removed the woman’s jewelry and fled on a bicycle, police said.
