A collision between a school bus and a pickup truck on Roosevelt Boulevard on Monday morning in Northeast Philadelphia sent one student and the truck driver to the hospital, police said.
The school bus, which was occupied by the driver, two attendants and eight students, was traveling northbound around 8 a.m. on Roosevelt Boulevard in the outer lanes when it hit the rear of a pickup truck that was stopped at the red light.
Five students were taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for evaluation as a precaution and were released.
The student and truck driver were treated for minor injuries.
