As part of their work with MTA Capital Construction in support of the Second Avenue Line, the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is launching a special restaurant week for businesses along Second Avenue from 68th Street to 96th Street.
The initiative is meant to counteract any negative impact the ongoing construction has had on these businesses, with 27 restaurants and 29 retail and service stores participating.
The Shop 2nd Avenue—It's Worth It! campaign began in 2010 in various forms, including a logo emblazoned on more than a million MetroCards.
