SEPTA holiday schedules for Monday, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day

Traveling on SEPTA on Monday, New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day? Check out the holiday schedule changes to make your life more convenient.

SEPTA’s schedule will be altered on Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 this year, and will operate on a Sunday schedule New Year’s Day. Regular weekday service will resume Jan. 2.

Monday, Dec. 30

The Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, buses numbered 90 and above, and the Norristown High-Speed Linewill operate on a Saturday schedule.

Buses numbered up to 89 and trolleys will operate on SEPTA’s modified holiday weekday schedule. For specific times, see line schedules atSEPTA’s website.

New Year’s Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31

The Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, buses numbered 90 and above, and the Norristown High-Speed Line will operate on a regular weekday schedule.

Buses numbered up to 89 and trolleys will operate on SEPTA’s modified holiday weekday schedule. For specific times, see line schedules atSEPTA’s website.

Regional Rail will operate on a regular weekday schedule, with special late night service added to accommodate . To see the late-night New Year’s Eve Regional Rail schedule, click here.

The Market Street doors at the Convention Center will remain open until 2:30 a.m.

New Year’s Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1

All SEPTA routes will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Some buses will be rerouted to accommodate the Mummer’s Parade, which travels along Broad Street from Shunk Street to LOVE Park. For up-to-the-minute updates, visit SEPTA’s System Status page.
