The car allegedly then spun round, traveling backwards down Harvard Street, before it hit a second vehicle.

The children’s ages were 2, 3, 6, 9 and two teenagers. None of them were wearing seat belts, according to reports.

There was also an infant on board who was in an unsecured car seat.

Two of the children were seriously injured. Five children and one adult were transported to Children’s Hospital and two other children and two other adults were transported to Boston Medical Center.
