Entrepreneur and business mogul Daymond John of “Shark Tank” fame will be among the judges at the Live Pitch Event for theMiller Lite Tap the Future business plan competition in Philadelphia on Thursday.

The competition features five semifinalist teams from Pennsylvania and the surrounding states pitching their businesses in front of a live audience at the Dave & Buster’s Showroom on Columbus Boulevard.

John will provide feedback to the young entrepreneurs, withSu Sanni and Ben Lamson, co-owners of WeDidIt, a tech company that helps non-profit organizations raise money and reach new donors.

“Entrepreneurship is a tough road that takes a lot of heart, dedication and discipline,” John said in a statement.“Miller Lite Tap the Future as a program gives these young businesses a great platform to learn and put in practice some of the most important elements in business, like pitching, networking and putting together a business plan.”

The winning team will receive a $20,000 prize and will advance to the national competition for the $200,000 grand prize. In addition, three randomly selected audience members will get the opportunity todeliver a one-minute business pitch with the best pitch receiving $500.
