The sister of the alleged Boston Marathon bombers appeared in a New Jersey courtroom on Monday to answer to drug charges.

Bella Tsarnaeva was indicted on marijuana possession and distribution charges, according to The Record.

Police were called to the home she shared with her boyfriend in December for a domestic incident and discovered the drugs after smelling marijuana. Her boyfriend was also indicted.

Her charges may be cleared because prosecutors said they are working to get her into a pretrial intervention program, according to The Record. Her case was continued until next month.

Tsarnaeva has not been implicated in the Boston Marathon bombings. Her brothers, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev are accused of placing backpacks filled with pressure cooker bombs near the finish line of the April 15 race. Those bombs killed three people and injured more than 260 others.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed during a shootout with police in Watertown. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was injured and eventually tracked down after a manhunt. He has pleaded not guilty to federal charges.
