BROOKHAVEN – A school bus driver fell asleep at the wheel yesterday morning and crashed his mini-bus that was carrying three mentally disabled students into a cluster of trees. The driver dozed off just before 8 a.m. between exits 64 and 65 on the Long Island Expressway and ran off the road. None of the students were seriously injured in the crash.
