About $7 million in grant money will be given to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and Fox Chase Cancer Center for help with their expansion and improvement projects, respectively.
Sen. Christine M. Tartaglione made the announcement today.
St. Christopher’s will receive $3 million while Fox Chase will get $4 million.
Tartaglione said the investments will help to create jobs but also "will lead to a better quality of life as the people who receive care at St. Christopher’s and Fox Chase will benefit.”
Both projects have a price tag of $133 million.
