The men dressed in SWAT gear on a Somerville street Halloween night weren’t trick-or-treaters.
SWAT officers were called to Jacques Street about 10:30 p.m. Sunday after a 20-year-old shot at two housing authority police officers.
Officers in an unmarked cruiser tried to stop and talk to the man, who turned and fired at them, hitting the driver’s side door of the car. He then fled to a nearby home.
After a three-hour standoff, police got Luis Angel Lopez out of the home and arrested him.
