Vintage Beatles collectible cards, detailed jewelry and rare currency could be yours thanks to an owner who has not claimed the item in about a decade.

The state treasurer’s office is going around Massachusetts this week to showcase hundreds of pieces of unclaimed property that will soon be put up for an online auction.

Most of the items come from safe deposit boxes that have gone unclaimed for at least nine years. The state occasionally holdsauctions of older portions of tangible items in part because of storage constraints or logistical needs. Last year’s eBay auction of more than 1,800 pieces raised about $544,000 for the state’s general fund.

“Reuniting people with their rightfully-owned property is our first priority, but in cases where these individuals cannot be located, we want to ensure that we maximize the revenue that is generated from this auction,” Treasurer Steven Grossman said in a statement.

The eBay auction goes live at noon on Saturday and items will be sold using the state’s username: mass.state.treasury.
