The latest installment in a series we like to call “Stay classy, New York Post!”
At this point it’s absurdly comedic the way the Fox Nation blog has been able to give even the most innocent of stories an anti-Obama bent. So, in the wake of President Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage this afternoon, you would not have been surprised by that blog’s hilarious summation of events:
OBAMA FLIP FLOPS, DECLARES WAR ON MARRIAGE
You can’t even be mad at them! (Especially since they’ve now changed it.)
You can, however, aim your leftover oppobrium at Fox Nation’s corporate sibling, the New York Post. Now, the Post is hardly The Economist, but it’s still a surprise how nakedly the paper decided to spin this story — by implying that Obama himself is gay. As the paper headlined its front-page Associated Press story:
