The stepson of a man stabbed to death in Harlem on Wednesday has been arrested and charged with murder, police said.

About 9:07 a.m., police discovered Ashford Geddes, 68, on Lenox Avenue, a few blocks from his home on West 142nd Street. He had been stabbed several times all over his body.

Geddes was pronounced dead on arrival at Harlem Hospital, police said.

His 32-year-old stepson, Waldean Elliot, was taken into custody at the scene. Police said he and Geddes had been having a dispute on the street when Elliot took out a kitchen knife and stabbed him.

Elliot was later charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
