The winners of the Massachusetts State Lottery’s Powerball game from mid-December finally came forward to claim their share of a $122.9 million lottery jackpot.

Maureen and Stephen Hinckley of Sterling, Mass., purchased the Powerball ticket that matched all five numbers plus the Powerball (1-10-13-18-19, Powerball 27), winning the couple the multistate game’s jackpot. They’ll take home about $24 million after taxes.

As for their plans now that they’ve got some extra cash to spend, the Hinckleys said they don’t intend to do anything too crazy.

“We have always wanted to visit the national parks and travel more, so that will likely be something we’ll do once this has all settled in,” said Maureen. “And my husband planned on retiring in the next few years, so that will be happening much sooner now.”

Chirag Patel, the owner of Appletown Market where the ticket was purchased, will also benefit from this jackpot win by receiving a $50,000 commission — the highest retailer commission paid by the Massachusetts Lottery — for selling the winning ticket, the Massachusetts State Lottery said in a statement.
