VIDEO: Stun gun used in Hunting Park store robbery

The robber pulled the stun gun on a cashier at the Family Dollar store at 4617 N. Fifth St. about 7:15 p.m. Sunday.

A robber pulled a stun gun on a cashier at Family Dollar in Philadelphia's Hunting Park neighborhood Sunday evening.

The crime happened at the store at 4617 N. Fifth St. about 7:15 p.m., according to Philadelphia police, who released video footage of the robbery Tuesday morning.

The video shows the suspect reach over the store's counter as the cashier opens the cash register to give a customer change. When the cashier attempted to stop him from reaching into the cash register, the robber reportedly pulled a stun gun and told her: "Don't do it or I will taze you!" The robber then took the cash register's drawer and fled in a vehicle that was parked on the 400 block of West Courtland Street, traveling east on Courtland Street and south on Fourth Street.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with freckles on his face, 5-foot-6 or 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, 30 years old, and with an orange beard. He was wearinga brown hooded jacket, black pants and tan boots.
