Suspect sought in Bronx home invasion, robbery

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating a man they say robbed two people in the Bronx after he forced his way into their apartment earlier this month.

The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Dec. 14 near Decatur Avenue and East Gun Hill Road in Norwood, police said.

The suspect, who is described as being in his late 20s, pushed his way into the apartment, displayed a handgun and ordered two victims, a 53-year-old man and 53-year-old woman, to the floor. He then took their jewelry and cell phones before fleeing.

The NYPD released a surveillance photo of the suspect on Monday.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are confidential.
