Two suspects were arrested this morning in connection to the murder of four-year-old Lloyd Morgan, who was shot and killed Sunday evening in a playground shootout in the Bronx.
Police charged Rondell Pinkerton, 17, with murder and criminal possession of a weapon, cops said.
Pinkerton reportedly admitted to firing a gun in self-defense during a basketball tournament on Sunday.
Courtney Kelly, 26, of the Bronx, was injured in the shootout and charged this morning with criminal possession of a weapon, according to a police report.
Thirteen rounds were reportedly fired from each side of the court and playground where Morgan was with his mother, who wasn’t injured. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital where he died later Sunday evening.
