Teen collapses, dies at Brooklyn high school

A 15-year-old boy at the High School for Civil Rights in Brownsville, Brooklyn collapsed around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon, the NYPD reported.

A 15-year-old boy at the High School for Civil Rights in Brownsville, Brooklyn, collapsed about 4 p.m. Monday, the NYPD reported.

Cardell Lee, 15, had a history of asthma, police said. CPR was done and a defibrillator was used, but the teen could not be resuscitated.

Lee was taken to Brookdale Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival, police said. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
