A 20-year-old man has been charged in the crash on the Grand Central Parkway in Queens on Saturday that left two teens dead and three other passengers injured, police said.

Madosh Hansroj was driving eastbound on the parkway in a 1996 Honda when he lost control and struck a guardrail in the vicinity of Utopia Parkway and 188th Street, police said.

Cops said Hansroj was traveling in the middle lane at a high speed when he switched lanes, losing control of the vehicle. Hansroj then began to brake, causing the vehicle to slide onto the shoulder and into the guardrail, police said.

Meera Dukharan, 17, and her boyfriend Anil Persaud, 18, were ejected through the rear window and died of their injuries. A 17-year-old male was also ejected from the rear window and was listed in serious condition at New York Hospital of Queens.

Two other passengers were treated for minor injuries.

Dukharan and Persaud leave behind a 14-month-old daughter, according to news reports.

Hansroj has been charged with manslaughter, felony assault, criminally negligent homicide, illegal speed, and speeding and driving while ability impaired.
