A teen who had planned to trade jackets with someone he met online ended up being robbed at knifepoint, police said.

The victim, 17, entered the East 180th Street train station in the Bronx about 6 p.m. on Nov. 30 to meet the suspect, whom he knew only through Facebook. He thought he was going to exchange is Pelle Pelle jacket for a different jacket, but the suspect approached the victim accompanied by two others.

One of the other two suspects brandished a knife while the Facebook “friend” removed the victim’s jacket.

The three suspects then fled the location; no injuries were reported.

Last month, a teen opened fire at the Bryant Park skating rink and shot two people after he tried to steal an expensive Marmot Mammoth coat from one of the victims.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
