A teenager was hospitalized early Tuesday morning after smashing his head on metal beam while subway surfing in Brooklyn.
Isa Islam, 17, hit his head while riding atop a southbound F train in Park Slope about 2:20 a.m., The New York Post reported. Rescuers found the teen after the train pulled into the Fourth Avenue-Ninth Street station. He was rushed to Lutheran Hospital with serious injuries.
The incident comes less than one week after a homeless man died after he hit a beam while riding atop a 6 train near the 96th Street station.
