The teenage boy in custody after two young men were injured in a shooting at Bryant Park ice skating rink Saturday night appears to have posted about his encounter with police on Facebook.

The 16-year-old was being questioned at the Midtown South precinct Sunday and charges against him are pending, a law enforcement official said.

Police suspect the teen, whose name is being withheld by Metro until he is formally charged, shot into the ice rink about 11 p.m., hitting a 14-year-old in the back and a 20-year-old in the leg, after a dispute over a coat with the older victim. Both were taken to Bellevue Hospital. The younger victim is believed to have undergone spinal injury.

Timing of the posts, which began at 4:30 a.m. and end around 8:30 a.m., seem to match with the timeline of the shooting.
