Lexington police are working to identify a man who used a stolen credit card to wash his luxury car and then buy hockey gear.
Police recently posted surveillance images of the suspect online.
The incident took place in December after a person at a car wash dropped his or her credit card, Lexington police said. The suspect picked up the credit card and used it to wash his Porsche. He then went to Pure Hockey in Burlington, where he used the credit card to buy $1,000 worth of hockey equipment, police said.
Lexington police are asking people for help identifying the man, but said the Porsche would be more noticeable. The car is a blue Porsche Cayman, possibly a 2006 to 2009 model year. It had no front license plate.
Police described the suspect as a white man, about 6 feet tall.
