SHIRLEY – Another bank was robbed yesterday, the third Suffolk County bank robbery so far this year.
At 12:05 p.m., a teller at Bridgehampton National Bank located at 630 Montauk Highway, received a note from a 6-foot-tall, unidentified white male, wearing a dark-colored ski jacket and blue knit cap, demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot.
Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding this crime to call 1-800-220-Tips. All calls will remain anonymous.
