Three people were killed in two shootings this weekend, police said.
A man was shot in the back early Sunday morning in the Soundview section of the eastern Bronx. Police found Rasheed Barton, 28, at 1:30 a.m. on Bronx River Avenue. Emergency personnel took Barton to St. Barnabus Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
In another incident, two men in their 20s were shot and killed in Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn late Friday night. Jahmal Issac Page, 21, and Anthony Earl-Govon, 22, were found in the northwest corner of the park at 11:30 p.m. Both had a single gunshot wound to the head and were pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made in either shooting, police said. The investigations are ongoing.
