Three Kings parade takes over East Harlem

The annual Three Kings Day Parade marched through East Harlem on Monday, Jan, 6.The parade commemorates the three kings or wise men that come to visit the baby Jesus. It takes place on the 12th and last day of Christmas and is also known as the Epiphany. The parade begins at Lexington Avenue and 106th Street and is sponsored by El Museo del Barrio.

Politicians that took part in the parade include Comptroller Scott Stringer, Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez, Congressman Jose Serrano and Councilwoman Melissa Mark-Viverito.
