Three men charged with fatal Kensington stabbing outside restaurant Sunday

Police have identified three suspects who are charged in the fatal stabbing of a man early Sunday outside a Kensington restaurant.

Luis Mendoza, 35, of the 3300 block of N. 2nd Street, Darlin Mendoza, 31, of the 300 block of E. Tioga Street, and Ramon Turcios, 25, of the 3300 block of N. 2nd Street are all are charged with the murder of 31-year-old Israel Baca-Hernandez, of the 2000 block of Ridge Avenue over an argument, police said.

Baca-Hernandez was found lying with multiple stab wounds to his torso in front of the Laberintos de Pasion Restaurant on the 3100 block of G Street in Kensington by officers who received a call of a “person screaming” just after 3 a.m.

Baca-Hernandez was pronounced dead at 3:32 a.m. at Temple University Hospital.

The three suspects were arrested on the 600 block of West Clementine Street, police said.
