Sections of Broad Street will be closed Sunday between Sommerville Street in the north and the Navy Yard in the south for the 34th annual Broad Street Run.
Police will close off sections of Broad Street between approximately 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. to accommodate the 10-mile road race.
Police advise motorists who must cross Broad Street during the race to consider utilizing one of the elevated or underground roadways, such as Roosevelt Boulevard, I-676 and I-76.
Broad Street will be reopened to vehicular traffic as the last group of runners passes each intersection and the streets are cleaned.
Police will be assigned along the route, but motorists should expect delays throughout the race.
