Two men were arrested after an alleged bias crime this morning, the third hate crime reported this week.

A Port Authority spokesman confirmed that their police officers arrested two men in an alleged hate attack early this morning.

According to NBC, when two men were unable to get into a billiards club in Midtown, five men started to yell slurs at them.

The suspects then stomped on one of the men and dragged and beat the other, NBC reported.

Port Authority police intervened near the PATH station on 33rd Street and arrested two men.

The assault was blocks away from anotherbias attackMetro reported. A group of men approached two men in front of a Midtown McDonald’s Sunday night near Madison Square Garden and yelled anti-gay slurs at them.

They then punched one of the victims in the face, cops said.

Council Speaker Christine Quinn said today that cops told her of three hate crimes against LGBT New Yorkers in her district during the past week.

In a third case, a man was physically and verbally assaulted while leaving a gay bar in the West Village, a source said.

“I am outraged by this string of assaults,” Quinn said.”These vicious assaults are not reflective of the diversity that defines New York City. Our city prides itself on its inclusiveness, and hateful slurs and physical attacks against anyone, for any reason, go against the very fabric of what makes our city great.”
