Two escape community jail in southeast Pennsylvania

Two inmates escaped from of a Southeast Pennsylvania corrections center Saturday afternoon during a fire alarm, The Morning Call of Allentown reported.

Two inmates escaped from of a Southeast Pennsylvania corrections center Saturday afternoon during a fire alarm, The Morning Call of Allentown reported.

The inmates escaped from the Wernersville Community Corrections Center in South Heidelberg Township, which sits just west of Reading, after a still-unknown party pulled a fire alarm around 4 p.m., the newspaper reported.

Shaun Patrick Kubacki, 26, previously of Reading,was serving time for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Oscar Tim Robinson, 25, previously of Harrisburg, was serving a sentencefor false identification.

Community corrections centers serve as a type of half-way house or work-release centers for detainees on parole or nearing the ends of their sentences, according to the newspaper.
