Two men have been indicted in the shooting death of a 16-month-old boy in Brownsville earlier this month.

Daquan Breland, 23, faces one count of second-degree murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes announced on Thursday. He could serve up to 25 years to life in prison if convicted.

Daquan Wright, 19, was indicted on on two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. He faces 15 years in prison.

On Sept. 1, Anthony Hennis was pushing his 1-year-old son Antiq in his stroller in the vicinity of 350 Bristol St. when he encountered Breland and Wright.

Wright allegedly handed Breland a gun, and Breland fired several shots at Anthony. He missed his target and one of the bullets went through the stroller, striking Antiq in the head and killing him.

Both men were arrested in Pennsylvania on Sept. 7.
