Two men were stabbed Saturday through Sunday during two unrelated attacks in the Olney and Kensington neighborhoods of Philadelphia, according to police.
Investigators said the first incident happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. Saturday on the 200 block of Rosemar Street in Olney.
A 50-year-old man was stabbed twice in the chest, reportedly following an argument that escalated into a fight.
The victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
Investigators said a weapon was recovered from the scene and a suspect was taken into custody.
His identity has not yet been released.
The second attack happened shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday on the 3200 block of North Lee Street in Kensington.
A 27-year-old Hispanic man was stabbed once each in the head and lower back and rushed by police to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said that suspect's identity is known to police.
