Two teens were killed and a third was injured in a shooting in Newark’s South Ward on Christmas night.
A 13-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were fatally shot around 10 p.m. on the 100 block of Schley Street, The Star-Ledger reported.
Both teens were pronounced dead at University Hospital in Newark. A third young victim was in critical but stable condition on Thursday night.
Newark Police and the Essex County Prosecutor’s Homicide/Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the incident, The Star-Ledger reported.
The victims’ names have not been released.
