The Valley Forge Resort Casino received approval for 50 table games from the state Gaming Control Board.
The $132 million facility is scheduled to open this spring. The board previously approved the casino for up to 600 slots, but held a hearing last month in King on Prussia on the resort’s request for tables.
As a Category 3 facility, Valley Forge can have up to 50 table games. The developer must pay a $7.5 million fee for the operation of tables, which will include:
* 23 Blackjack tables
* 4 Craps tables
* 4 Three-Card Poker tables
* 4 Roulette tables
* 4 Mini-Baccarat tables
* 3 Midi-Baccarat tables
* 2 Ultimate Texas Hold’em tables
* 2 Pai Gow tables
* 2 Pai Gow Poker tables, and
* 2 Let It Ride tables
The casino is expected to provide 650 jobs. It will join Parx as the second gaming facility in Montgomery County and fourth in the five-county Greater Philadelphia region.
