Verizon worker electrocuted

A Verizon worker installing Internet cables in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn was electrocuted Wednesday.

Douglas La Lima, 37, was set aflame and later killed when he touched a hidden power line.

La Lima, who worked for Verizon for 15 years, was installing FIOS wires before the freak accident.
