Police are looking for a man who robbed a Metro PCS cell phone store in Girard Estates on March 10.
Around 4 p.m. a man entered the store, which is located on the 2100 block of Oregon Avenue, and approached the clerk requesting information about certain cell phone models, police said.
The suspect continued to inquire about the different phones until lingering customers left the store. He then reached into his coat as if he had a gun, went behind the counter and demanded money.
After he grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the register drawer, he stole the employee's cell phone.
The suspect is described as black male between the ages of 30 and 40 and standing between 5 foot 6 inches and 5 foot 8 inches, with dark skin and a medium build.
