MBTA Transit Police released surveillance video Tuesday in an effort to identify an alleged phone robber.
The suspect, a black male, is seen quickly jetting through MBTA turnstiles, walking up steps at a T station and meandering around looking at a device.
According to police, the suspect snatched a T passenger’s cell phone while on board a Red Line train as it entered Fields Corner Station around 6:19 p.m. on Dec. 19.
