The trailer for yet another movie filmed in Boston is starting to show up on television.
Melissa McCarthy hosted last night's episode of "Saturday Night Live" and a trailer for her new movie "The Heat" aired during one of the first commercial breaks. McCarthy and Sandra Bullock star in the buddy cop movie.
The movie filmed in various locations around Boston last year and had more than one disastrous day.
In July an MBTA bus crashed into a trailer parked near the Dudley Square filming location. That crash injured more than a dozen people.
The next day a stabbing took place near the filming site. One person was killed and two others were injured. A publicist said at the time that filming stopped when the sirens from emergency personnel could be heard nearby.
At least after watching the trailer, "The Heat" seems like it will be funnier than the the real-life drama that took place during filming.
