The adopted son of a West Roxbury man is facing a murder charge in connection with the death of his 66-year-old adoptive father, who was found dead in a home Friday morning.
The Globe reported that homicide detectives arrested Mark Regan, 33, after the victim, also named Mark Regan, was found dead during a wellness call at 105 Perham St. at 8:26 a.m. Friday.
Jake Wark, spokesman for the Suffolk County district attorney’s office, told the Globe that there did not appear to be a public safety threat, and that the incident is not believed to be random.
Regan is expected to be arraigned Monday in West Roxbury Municipal Court.
