For the best in business education, you need go no further than University City in West Philadelphia.
Out of 200 MBA programs, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania was ranked third most recognizable to employers in North America by the QS Global Business Schools Report 2013/14.
The rankings, published Tuesday at TopMBA.com, were based on a global survey of 4,318 business recruiters for which business schools have the highest employer recognition.
“With graduates from ‘elite global’ schools in both North America and Europe now commanding average salaries in advance of US$120,000, the MBA remains one of the safest investments around,” said Nunzio Quacquarelli, managing director of QS, in a statement announcing the results.
Quacquarelli himself received an MBA from the Wharton School.
