A 73-year-old woman died after she was struck by a tractor trailer in Brooklyn on Monday, police said.
Ngozi Agbim was crossing the intersection at Church Avenue and Prospect Expressway at about 9:40 a.m. when the tractor trailer traveling westbound on Church Avenue attempted to make a right turn onto Prospect Expressway, striking Agbim, police said.
The driver of the tractor trailer remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Agbim was a retired librarian who worked for 33 years at LaGuardia Community College.
