An elderly pedestrian was struck and killed by a car Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn, police said.
Marlene Baharlias, 77, was crossing East 19th Street in Sheepshead Bay when she was hit by a Mercedes Benz attempting to parallel park around 2:20 p.m. She was rushed to Coney Island Hospital and pronounced dead.
Cops said the driver remained on scene. The investigation is ongoing.
