Boston Police apprehended a woman they say is responsible for last week's stabbing in the Back Bay neighborhood.
On Tuesday, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Naomi Charles, 26, of Dorchester on an outstanding warrant, according to the Boston Police Department. Charles was charged with assault with intent to murder in connection with the stabbings of two female victims Friday on Hereford Street.
Charles will appear in Boston Municipal Court on Wednesday.
The stabbing was a result of a fight that broke out between two groups of women who knew each other prior to the attack.
While police believe Charles is one of the attackers, detectives are continuing to pursue a second suspect who was seen during the brutal attack. Anyone with information is asked to call District D-4 (South End) detectives at 617-343-5619.
