Woman’s decomposed body washes up in Breezy Point

The decomposed body of an unidentified woman was discovered near 121 Bayside Avenue in Breezy Point, Queens around 8:40 a.m. Saturday morning, police said.

While only part of the woman’s skull remained intact, police said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

The Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
