With a lot at stake and a lot of varied outcomes possible on Thursday, you may need someone to hold on to watching Team USA in the World Cup.
Thankfully, fans are expected to gather en masse at City Hall Plaza Thursday afternoon for a World Cup viewing party put on by the city with help from the New England Revolution.
The watch party starts at 11:30 a.m. – rain or shine – and the match begins at noon. The USA vs. Germany game could determine who advances on to the Round of 16.
The Revolution’s street team, known as the Battalion, will have activities and give-aways for fans. Slyde, the Revolution’s mascot, will also join the Rev Girls at City Hall Plaza.
