What does “Boston Strong” smell like?
Apparently it’s “aheartwarming blend of cinnamon, baking spices, and a hint of freshly poured tea.”
The Massachusetts-based Yankee Candle company has created a special “Boston Strong” candle to help benefit the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The net proceeds from the $27.99 candle will be donated to The One Fund Boston, the charity set up to support those impacted by the blasts.
“As a Massachusetts-based company, Yankee Candle feels a strong desire to do its part to help after last week’s tragedy in Boston. Today, we’re introducing the Boston Strong Candle, designed to bring our community together and help the victims affected by the Boston Marathon events,” the company posted on its Facebook page Thursday.
The candle can be pre-ordered and will ship in about three weeks.
The phrase “Boston Strong” has become a rallying cry in the aftermath of the blasts that killed three people and wounded about 260 others.
