Officers arrived at the corner of Targee Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in Fox Hills at around 3 a.m. after they received a call that a man was shot.

When police arrived, however, they found the Ford brothers bleeding on the street, less than a five-minute walk from their home on Vanderbilt Avenue.

Paramedics rushed Terrell, who was shot in his torso to Richmond University Medical Center.

Emergency workers took Justin to Staten Island University Hospital North for gunshot wounds to his back.

Neither brother survived.

The New York Daily News reported the elder brother ran for cover when the gunman fired the first shots, while the younger was shot soon after. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nyc-crime/brothers-gunned-staten-isl…

One witness told the Daily News the gunfire erupted after one of the men had an argument with the shooter.

NYPD made no arrests as of Sunday morning.
