Sailor Moon fans are getting their own themed cafe — by fans, for fans.

The one-day-only Sailor Moon Cafe pop-up will happen on Jan 31 inside the tiny Hanamizuki Cafe in Chelsea, and while it’s styled after a Japanese maid cafe, the pop-up will be as much a chance for fans to express their creativity as enjoying a themed dessert.

CosCafeNYC is in the process of recruiting creative bakers to craft themed desserts as well as passionate cosplayers to serve as the waitstaff, who will also be in character as their Sailor Moon alter egos. Each guest will get plenty of personal attention, since just 20 people will be allowed in per one-hour session during the cafe’s 1-5 p.m. run.

Competition for those 80 tickets ($25 each) will be intense when they go on sale Dec. 15 — over 9,300 people have signed up on the event page. Good luck, scouts!
